About Dr. Diane Grimaldi
Diane Grimaldi started her psychotherapy practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1984 after receiving her Masters Degree in Adult Mental Health Nursing from Boston College and becoming a board certified Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric Nursing. In 1995 she was authorized to prescribe psychotropic medication, further expanding the scope of her practice.
In 2014 she received a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Prior to beginning her private practice in 1984, Diane Grimaldi spent several years at Massachusetts General Hospital on the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, and then worked at the Cambridge City Hospital as Team Coordinator in the outpatient Mental Health Department and the North Cambridge Health Center.
